ABOUT JOSHUA

Joshua Taylor McCoy is a dynamic creative professional with a career built on storytelling, innovation, and meaningful connections. A graduate of the prestigious Western Kentucky University with a bachelor’s degree in Photojournalism and New Media, Joshua also earned his Master’s in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ole Miss. His expertise is rooted in a diverse and accomplished background, including classical training under renowned studio photographer David Celaya of Wells Studio, attending WKU for documentary storytelling, and owning the fourth-largest wedding and portrait studio in Kentucky. For 13 years, Joshua served as the Manager of Athletics Photography at Ole Miss, where he oversaw photography and graphic design, elevating @OleMissPix to national recognition for its behind-the-scenes storytelling.

Now the Content and Media Manager for the City of Oxford, Joshua holds certifications in mental health, artificial intelligence, social strategy, and analytics, continuously expanding his knowledge to stay ahead of industry trends. With awards spanning multiple states and features in national and local outlets, his work reflects a passion for excellence and creativity.

More than accolades, Joshua’s life is centered on relationships. His 10-year-old daughter is his driving force, inspiring him to pour his heart and soul into every connection—with friends, family, and clients.
